DJ Shannon Blowtorch will have you shaking your ass all night long with special guest performer & MC ( To be announced!) This evening will double as the after party for the North Star Roller girl’s bout. DOUBLE PARTY TIME!!!
We mix your favorite indie dance tracks plus 80’s, 90’s, and current jamz that deserve to be played because they fit. Rulz aren’t meant for parties. Let’s roll with a good time and hear music that’s not overplayed at every other club night! Our focus is not top 40, but we reserve the right to be goofy and get “toxic” when we feel like it.
Berlin is for all of us queers that don’t want to hear the radio playlists you always hear in the clubs. You may just hear something new that you like with DJ Shannon Blowtorch. We’ll be playing everything from the classics to new music. Riot girl, moombahton, punk rock, nu disco, dubstep, dancehall, mash-ups, and bounce music are just a few of what we got to get you moving on the dance floor.
If your expecting to hear radio jams by Rihanna, Gaga, Katy Perry, you are looking at the wrong party. NO TOP 40 REQUESTS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Ally Appreciation & Visibility In Media will feature special guests:
MN Viking Chris Kluwe, comedian Ian Harvie and emceed by Edward Moody, new anchor with WCCO. Shannon Blowtorch will be the guest DJ. The MARRY US CAMPAIGN will have a photo booth on site for photo opportunities. Twin Cities Gay Mens Chorus will provide a special performance. Funtime Funktions will provide us with some special entertainment. 'Break Through' will be the first film to screen for the 2013 OTCFF, and Aaron Hose the director and Gabriella Shulruff, the writer of the theatrical stage play, will be present for a discussion following the screening. Featuring Pam the Funkstress, hosted by Omaur Bliss, with a special appearance by Toki Wright, and DJ Shannon Blowtorch also on the 1's & 2's.

An original member of the highly acclaimed underground hip hop group, The Coup, from the Bay Area, Pam is a pioneer for female DJ's. She was a featured artist at Be Girl Be, a Celebration of Women in Hip Hop held at Intermedia Arts, and received a lifetime achievement award from the organizing committee in 2010. An award well deserved, as Pam has been a serious player in the game since the early 90's, working and touring with some of the greatest in the industry, ranging form Sean “Diddy” Combs, to KRS One to Grandmaster Flash.
On July 14th Pam the Funkstress will return to the Twin Cities for one night only at Hell's Kitchen, sharing the night with local DJ Shannon Blowtorch, hosted by Omaur Bliss, with special appearances by Rhymesayers artist, Toki Wright and other special guests TBA. For only $6, this night will surely be remembered as one of the best dance parties of the summer, bringing together some of the most talented local artists with a true legend.
